The Business Ops Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • HR:
    • Support the SLT in managing employee on-boarding, off-boarding and monitoring performance
    • Provide leadership and guidance to our hiring teams to source and secure top talent
    • Creation and maintenance of HR policies
    • Responsible for HR activity (employment contracts, IR35, maintenance of the HR database, pension scheme administration, other benefits and being the primary liaison for payroll matters)
  • Legal and Compliance:
    • Liaison with legal advisors
    • Ensuring all commercial contracts are in place and are properly stored
    • Responsible for ensuring company records are up to date (including Company Secretarial, GDPR, Health and Safety)
    • support the business to ensure that we meet with all regulations and apply first-rate data security and information governance process
  • General Business Operations:
    • support organising and preparing internal and external meetings
  • General Office Management

Job requirements

You will definitely need the following to qualify:

- CIPD qualified

- Experience in legal and compliance matters

- Analytical nature and attention to detail

- Process oriented and a proven track record of implementing fit for purpose business operations processes

- Aptitude in decision making and problem solving

- Ambitious, high impact all-rounder with an entrepreneurial ‘get things done’ attitude

- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in an organisation

It would be the icing on the cake for us if you also have some of the following:

- Experience of having managed external suppliers

- Understanding of or an interest in technology and aviation
