As a Records Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Retrieving, reviewing, storing, and filing electronic Journey Log Pages, aircraft and engine log books, and component certificates.
- Updating AMOS with component installation, removal, maintenance records, modification records, aircraft flight logs, and Work packages including task cards, checks, documents, and Work Orders (WOs). Closing and reporting back on maintenance tasks.
- Reviewing electronic documents and scan copies of Maintenance Records, addressing quality issues and discussing with clients as needed. Checking WOs for defects/MEL and logging any errors found.
- Liaising with the Engineering team for record issues and raising safety or quality concerns in Centrik System.
- Investigating, analyzing, and providing solutions to correct records based on Airworthiness Standards.
- Monitoring fleet quality and safety by reviewing forecasts daily. Performing tree checks, initialization checks, and monitoring and correcting errors in AMOS using certificates, Aircraft Readiness Logs, and log books.
- Extending maintenance tasks based on approved documentation and providing KPI data to clients.
- Cleaning up duplicate or incorrect flight entries based on Nav-Blue.
- Assisting the development team with testing under internal business requirements and performing quality checks for data migration and aircraft onboarding teams.
As a Planning Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and updating all aircraft maintenance statuses in AMOS.
- Ensuring maintenance required by the AMP is performed within prescribed time limits.
- Coordinating maintenance with contracted stations.
- Preparing heavy check maintenance work packages 48 weeks before the start date.
- Acquiring, reviewing, and verifying completed work packages, and assisting clients with outstanding tasks.
- Providing weekly 2-month Parts Consumption Forecast and Aircraft Hour and Cycle Correction Request reports.
- Hosting meetings with Engineering for additional requirements, such as Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, or modifications for C checks.
- Performing AMOS configuration and initialization checks for the fleet.
- Preparing Work Packages for aircraft maintenance, including material and manpower.
- Performing root cause analysis to reduce the risk of overruns.
- Updating Technical Queries daily in AMOS.
- Conducting Maintenance Program revision peer reviews.
- Providing AMOS and mid-lease reports to clients.
- Assisting with testing for the development team.
- Performing quality checks for data migration and aircraft onboarding teams.
Job requirements
Skills and experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent/ bachelor’s degree in engineering
- At least 2 years of Aviation experience, especially in Airworthiness Record
- Strong experience with Maintenance Planning, and/or Maintenance Controlling
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of Maintenance programming, OEM documents, such as AD SB
- Experience of AMOS is an asset.
- Be flexible to work on the weekend if requested by team lead.
