Join Kenyon International
Kenyon has been there when it matters most for 120 years. We support more than 500 organisations across aerospace, government, events, maritime and energy with a network of over 2,500 specialist responders. The work is demanding and varied, and it directly supports people on the worst days of their lives. It helps mitigate risk, save lives, and make sure those affected by a crisis receive the support and compassion they need.
One organisation, four brands
Kenyon International is one of four TrustFlight brands. TrustFlight is the Aerospace Safety Intelligence Platform, building the technology that helps aviation operate safely and stay compliant. Baines Simmons delivers aviation training and consulting, and Redline Assured Security delivers government-standard aviation security. Each brand keeps its own name, heritage and team. Together we share one platform, one set of values and one purpose: closing the gaps between disconnected tools and providers, because those gaps are where risk accumulates. Working at Kenyon means your readiness connects to the systems that help prevent incidents in the first place.
Why people stay
We believe people do their best work when they have the freedom to do their job without too many rules and barriers getting in the way. Our culture is built on empowerment and trust: we hire good people and expect them to make the right calls for the company and the customer. Everyone has an individual training budget and protected development time, because transforming an industry means our people have to keep learning. Our offices in the UK, Canada, the US and Jersey are where teams meet to collaborate and plan, and we flex around each person's circumstances. People who deliver get more scope. Across TrustFlight, interns have become engineers, test engineers have become product managers, and coordinators have become team leads.
Our values guide how we work. Integrity: we are transparent and open, and we offer trust before we ask for it. Responsibility: we own our work and make it the best it can be. Innovation: we build for the industry's future needs, not just what exists today. Excellence: in everything we deliver.
Why this role matters
You will own the availability and readiness of Kenyon's response equipment, consumables and supply chain across the UK, Europe and Africa, including our mass fatality response infrastructure such as mortuary and DVI equipment and personal effects processing materials. You will play a key role in daily operations and in emergency response activations on behalf of the companies that retain Kenyon for emergency and disaster response services. When we are activated, you deploy the equipment and activate the supply chain; when equipment and supply chain are not in scope, you support the Crisis Management Centre.
What you will do
Maintain the readiness of Kenyon's global equipment and resources for deployment.
Establish and improve the supply chain underpinning Kenyon's operations, including identification, planning, analysis and pre-contracting of suppliers.
Manage the warehouse and supplies, including inventory control and reporting.
Source, specify and maintain Kenyon's mass fatality response equipment and consumables, such as temporary mortuary infrastructure, mortuary supplies, PPE, identification and DVI equipment, and personal effects processing materials, against Kenyon's standard operating procedures.
Source, specify and maintain Kenyon's family assistance equipment in line with Kenyon's humanitarian business plan.
Identify and promote new technical equipment to support supply chain delivery and incidents, including GPS beacons, handheld radios and communication systems.
Prepare the shipping documentation for response consumables and equipment, including dangerous goods declarations, and check that documentation is correct and complete before despatch.
Support health and safety functions, including weekly fire safety checks, regular evacuation drills, COSHH risk assessments, and other health and safety tasks as required.
Provide equipment and supply chain input to the standard operating procedures and flag where a procedure no longer matches the equipment held or the supply chain provision in place.
Maintain equipment, inventory and supplier records in Kenyon's internal systems, databases and spreadsheets, and report on stock levels, equipment status and supplier performance.
Provide reciprocal cover for the Crisis Response Coordinator(s) / Operations Specialist(s) during absence.
On activation, deploy or provision Kenyon's response equipment as the first call on this role: arrange its movement to the incident site, and support the deployed team with its set-up, operation, recovery and return to stock.
Support the Crisis Management Centre during an activation, as directed.
Deploy in various functions and roles of the Kenyon response model to support clients dealing with a crisis incident.
Ensure that relevant legislation requirements are followed, including Health and Safety, aviation-related requirements (e.g. Family Assistance Law), and data protection.
Identify opportunities for process improvement in the warehouse and supply chain and support their implementation, and provide equipment, inventory and supplier records to the Quality function on request in support of internal, client and certification audits.
Attend sales presentations, conduct site visits and maintain regular communication with key personnel, delivering excellent customer service, and support commercial efforts during client visits with warehouse tours and presentation of equipment and supply chain capabilities.
Handle recovered personal effects and the associated records in line with Kenyon's data protection obligations and client instructions.
Such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time, commensurate with the level of the role.
What success looks like
Equipment and deployable kit readiness: the proportion of critical response inventory serviceable, in date and ready for deployment at any point in the year. Target 98%, with no critical line out of stock or out of date.
Full physical stock check completed and reconciled against the equipment inventory record. Target: within the first 90 days in post, and annually thereafter.
Mass fatality response equipment and consumables held against the documented kit specification and casualty planning assumptions, reviewed quarterly. Where that specification does not yet exist, it is documented and approved within the first six months in post.
Supplier pre-contracting coverage against the response model: the proportion of critical equipment and consumable lines with a pre-agreed supplier and confirmed lead time. Target 90% by the end of year one.
Monthly equipment maintenance checks completed. Target 100%.
Shipping and dangerous goods documentation complete and accurate on despatch. Target 100%.
How we work with AI
TrustFlight is an AI-first organisation. Every role, from engineering to crisis response, uses AI tools in day-to-day work, and you will complete our AI onboarding in your first 30 days. In this role that means working as an AI Practitioner: designing prompts and workflows that use AI for analysis, reporting or automation, evaluating the quality and bias of AI output, identifying new AI use cases within Operations, and sharing best practice with the team.
Where and how you will work
Working hours: No fixed hours apply to this role. Core availability is expected Monday to Friday during business hours across relevant time zones, but you will work whatever hours the role demands, which may include evenings, weekends, on-call coverage, and response to operational activations.
