As part of our continued growth, we operate a company Embraer EMB550 to support business needs across Jersey, the UK, Canada, and the United States. We are now seeking an additional First Officer to join our expanding operation.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and professional First Officer to support TrustFlight’s international flight operations on our Embraer EMB550. This full-time role is ideal for a safety-focused pilot who performs confidently in a fast-moving, multi-jurisdiction environment and takes pride in delivering a discreet, high-standard corporate aviation service.

You will operate a varied mission profile between Jersey, the UK, Canada, and the U.S., with the potential for worldwide destinations. Working within a small, high-performing crew team, you will contribute to safe, compliant, and efficient operations. The role requires a high degree of flexibility, including the ability to respond to short-notice and last-minute assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Flight Operations & Safety
• Operate the Embraer EMB550 in accordance with all applicable regulations, company SOPs, and international operating standards.
• Maintain the highest standards of airmanship, safety culture, and crew resource management at all times.
• Ensure compliance with EASA/FAA/CAA/Transport Canada requirements as applicable to licence and operation.
• Support safe and efficient international operations across multiple jurisdictions and airspace environments.
• Complete pre-flight planning, performance calculations, and operational risk assessments for each mission.

Operational Excellence
• Work collaboratively with TrustFlight stakeholders to deliver reliable, flexible corporate transport aligned with business priorities.
• Complete all post-flight duties including reporting, documentation, and operational debriefs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of company flight procedures, safety reporting, and operational standards.
• Maintain readiness for short-notice missions and international travel requirements.

Crew Collaboration & Professional Standards
• Represent TrustFlight with professionalism and discretion when engaging with passengers, airport/handling staff, and regulators.
• Maintain personal currency, recency, and competency requirements relevant to the role.
• Support training and checking activities as required within the crew group.

Job requirements

Candidates with the following skills and experience are encouraged to apply. While not every criterion is mandatory, a strong foundation in corporate jet operations and multi-jurisdiction compliance is required.

Essential Requirements

Licensing & Right to Operate
• Valid EASA, FAA, UK CAA, or Canadian ATPL/CPL with appropriate privileges.
• Ability to obtain and hold a modified B1/B2 U.S. visa for operational travel.
• Proof of credentials and licence verification available on request.

Flight Experience
• Minimum 500 total flight hours.
• Strong technical flying skills and a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to operate effectively in a multi-crew, corporate aviation environment.

Operational Competence
• Excellent understanding of international business aviation standards and compliance expectations.
• Strong CRM skills and ability to perform effectively in a small, close-knit crew environment.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer focus.
• Willingness to be based in Jersey, and to operate international multi-sector trips.

Preferred Qualifications

• EMB550 type rating (advantageous but not required).
• Previous corporate / business aviation experience.
• Experience operating internationally across EASA, FAA, and Transport Canada environments.
• Interest in safety management systems, technology-enabled operations, or aviation innovation.
