Our software supports some of the largest business aviation operators, training organisations and airlines around the world. As we continue to grow and expand our presence globally, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Accountant as part of a small team being established to support the Group in Jersey.
Role Overview
TrustFlight is establishing its flight operations in Jersey in tandem with expanding our flight training capability with Embraer executive aircraft. We are looking for a Captain with strong leadership skills, a passion for training and someone that enjoys building a service from the ground up. In addition, this role will lead a team of four flight crew members for the company's aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead safe and efficient Flight Ops department
- Oversee daily operations
- Develop SOP for worldwide operations
- Create recurrent training profiles
- Develop and deliver EASA examiner Standards Courses
- Conduct simulator and on aircraft training and checking
- Be an ambassador for company SaaS solutions
- Support our clients’ product implementation
- Engage with sales team to identify commercial opportunities
- Engage with software development team to maintain our products lead over other solutions providers
- Work closely with client prospects as SME
Job requirements
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced captain with ratings on EMB550 and 500/505 executive aircraft on EASA, CAA and FAA licenses. The key requirements include:
- Senior Examiner under an EASA authority
- TRI/TRE (unrestricted AC/Sim) EMB500/505 & EMB550
- Total hours > 5000 hrs
- EMB500/505 > 2400 hrs
- EMB550 > 1000 hrs
- Simulator training/ checking experience > 500 hrs
- Experienced in CAT II and Steep approach training.
- Has the right to live & work in the United Kingdom unrestricted
- Holds unrestricted passport and able to travel worldwide.
In addition we are looking for someone with:
Strong leadership skills
Extensive knowledge of the regulatory environment to support the expansion of our training operation
Understanding and interest in technology and aviation
