Job Description – Quality Associate / Tester

Redline Assured Security (Redline) is a specialist security company that delivers ad hoc Quality Assurance (QA) testing across the aviation sector and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sites throughout the UK. We are currently looking to expand our network of associates and welcome applications from individuals across all regions.

As part of the QA programme, successful applicants will be required to complete a free online training course covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of the role. Before your first assignment, a Redline Test Controller will provide a site-specific briefing to reinforce the training and ensure you are fully prepared. During your initial QA assignments, you will receive ongoing support and guidance from the Test Controller and experienced members of the team.

Assignments are offered on an ad hoc basis, meaning there is no guaranteed number of working days. Likewise, associates are not required to commit to a set level of availability. Each month, you will be asked to confirm your availability for the following month, after which work will be allocated where suitable. The average time spent on site ranges from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location, and competitive rates of pay are offered. At the end of each month, associates are responsible for submitting an invoice directly to Redline for completed assignments.

You will work as part of a small team led by a Redline Test Controller, who will provide all relevant site-specific information to help you prepare for each assignment. Your role will involve completing the assigned QA tasks, accurately recording your observations, and reporting your findings to the Test Controller. A high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering work to the highest standards is essential.

Before attending the training course, all applicants must successfully complete a comprehensive five-year background check and a Criminal Record Check (CRC). Redline will cover the cost of these checks.

No previous experience is required, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.
